Another favourite so far with my local customers.
This watercolour painting depicts Kevin Atherton's 15 ft by10 ft Stained Glass window, which is suspended within the trees as part of the sculpture trail within the Forest Of Dean, called Cathedral.
Very delicately hand drawn, painted and quite tricky if I'm honest. It is designed and painted on a recycled Green Tea herbal tea bag to allow the light to come through like stained glass colours. It has been mounted on lokta paper and textured rag paper to add some depth. One of my favorites to do and makes an ideal gift if you are wanting a memory of your visit to the forest.
It is in a 10inch square frame and can be hung. The original tea label is attached to the back of the painting.
