As my Lesser Spotted Woodpecker had been so popular I thought it would be special to also try my hand at painting a Green Woodpecker. This would make a beautiful unique gift for any nature lover.
Hand drawn and painted in watercolour and acrylic I was really pleased at how this little treasure come out. Painted on a Honey & Ginger recycled herbal tea bag, the tones of the tea bag were just right to compliment the greens of the woodpecker. To highlight the tree I used strips of recycled tea bags to depict the bark. I must say I am fascinated by nature and its inhabitants - nature is a beautiful thing.
The original tea bag is attached to the back of the frame.
Presented in a 10inch square black box frame but you can also choose white if you prefer.
